This sensor looks identical to the one on my Watson W-8686 - is this compatible with other brands?

Yes so long as the Watson station has 868MHz stamped on the back thenthis is compatible. This sensor is the indoor version with temperature, humidity and pressure.

Will this item connect directly to an HP2553AE console without a gateway and is it also possible to add several WH32A sensors to one console to monitor different indoor locations (within the 868mHz transmission range)?

<p>Only one WH32A 3 in 1 sensor can be added to the console for indoor temperature, humidity and pressure. </p>

<p>A further WH32 2 in 1 sensor should be added as your primary outdoor temperature and humidity sensor. </p>

<p>After these two, and additional 8 WH31 sensors can be added to the console. </p>
