The WH46D indoor sensor adds particle detection of PM1.0, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, along with CO2, Temperature and Humidity readings to your weather station.

The WH46D can be used as a standalone monitor as it has a built in LCD display. With a suitable gateway or weather station console you can upload to the Ecowitt network to store historic of the data as well as view near realtime readings.

Wh46d

I purchased the wh46d out of curiosity about monitoring the air quality in my house as I live not too far from a busy road .

What it has taught me is that the road doesn't effect the quality of the air inside of my house as much as I thought but the air inside the house is the issue.

It's taught me when to ventilate, where the problem areas are and I've researched what needs to be done. The air is a lot cleaner and sleeping is a lot better including my asthma.

I do have the ecowitt eco system such as room humidity and temp sensors throughout my house . So it all helps me monitor what is going on.

Brilliant device, wish we could have more then one 46d connected .

How do I get this connected to the Ecowitt Hp2560_C console? The sensor is not listed in the sensors screen, the manual for the WH46D says add it via the ecowitt app, but mine doesn't list add sensors. The console and app is upto date.

There are a number of reasons you may have an issue:

1) Only a single WH45 or WH46 sensor can be connected to the console, not both.
2) The console frequency is different to the sensor (868MHz) unfortunately we can't see any other orders on our system to confirm this, but it is printed on the console rear.
3) The console lists the sensor as AQIN (Air Quality Indoors) rather than a specific number in column 1 of the sensors and this may be disabled and need changing to Search in the setting.
