Second display

I bought this as a second display for a Watson weather station (another Fine Offset/Ecowitt clone) and it works perfectly. It is even better than the original as it can update over wifi instead of needing to download to a USB stick.

Perfect as my second display.

I'd purchased the GW1001 weather station as a budget option 2 years ago. This made for a great addition to view data without my wife. asking to go online. Great price and no import fees in the UK.

Can the HP2550 be run on batteries?

No, none of our colour weather station consoles from Ecowitt or other manufacturers are able to run on batteries due to their high power consumption.

I cannot see my separate outdoor temperature & humidity sensor (WH32) on the main display, I just have dashes. How can I fix this?

<div>The factory default for the HP2560 console is that the WH32 outdoor sensor is disabled). If you follow the button presses below you can enable this sensor:</div>

Press Cog &gt; Scroll to More Press + to select &gt; Scott to Sensor ID Setup  Press + to select &gt; Scroll to T&amp;H (reads disabled) press + and select register.<br />

<div>This should then change from disabled on the list of sensors and the console will start to search for it before it appears on the main screen. The curled left arrow ‚Ü© will back you out to the main screen once again.</div>

Can I use a second console on the same weather station so that I can have one upstairs as well as down? I have the Ecowitt 2553 suit.

Yes, you can have as many consoles as you wish with the HP2553 system. So long as any extra consoles are in range of the sensors. We do, however, recommend that only one console uploads data online, all can be connected to WiFi to sync accurate time and date from the internet time service.
