Excellent service

I can't praise Weather spares.co.uk highly enough.

I needed a repair to my Davis VP2 ISS board, and in particular replacement of the super capacitor.

They were knowledgeable, extremely helpful and turned the repair around in record time, replacing the capacitor with one with a much higher capacity to help the battery over the shorter winter days.

I could not believe it when my Vantage transmitter kept easing batteries. Was really pleased to have the fault diagnosed and repaired by Adrian at Weather Spares. I sent the unit Monday, had an update Tuesday and was up and running again before Thursday night. Stunning service unlike some other weather specialist.

Hi - I have had a constant battery drain for the past 12 to 18 months. I've replaced the battery every 2 months or so. I replaced the supercap this January and it is still giving Low Battery warnings and eating through the battery in a few months. I think it may be a circuit board issue. Do you fix these kinds of issues? I am based in Ireland. Thanks.

I'm very sorry to say that we don't have the facilities to carry out circuit board level diagnosis and repair. To carry out this type of repair a circuit diagram would be required from Davis which they do not publish, it is also particularly difficult in that many of the components on the board are unmarked.
