The WittFlow smart water timer helps you to automate your garden irrigation when paired with one of the many IoT gateways or consoles from Ecowitt (available separately).
The Smart Water Timer is equipped with a flow meter as well as a built-in temperature sensor, which not only functions as a water timer but also allows real-time monitoring of water flow and temperature. This provides you with a better understanding of water usage in your home or business. The WittFlow WFC01 supports cloud-based control and all water usage is stored in the cloud. Users can check their water usage anytime, manage and optimise it for more convenient control and achieve more scientific and rational water usage.
This product can be set up within the Ecowitt APP and can be linked with Ecowitt Soil Moisture Sensors to enable automatic irrigation. It is also possible to skip the current watering plan when predefined conditions are met, for example: rain is detected by an Ecowitt Rain Sensor, water temperature is too low/high. The SMART mode or plan skip feature is only accessible when hub is connected to our cloud service. Scheduled plans are saved on hub locally and the pre-set plans can still operate normally if your broadband has issues. Smart features require connection to the Ecowitt cloud service.

Will this pair - connect with a GW1100 Gateway
At the moment Ecowitt have only made this availalbe for use with the GW2000 gateway. They may expand this to earlier GW1100 model at a later date, I have requested a confirmation of this from them.
Is Ecowitt intending to extrapolate localised irrigation evapotranspiration rates (less rainfall) from Wx station data, to allow a corresponding Wittflow controlled volume (area sized & vegetation factored) to be delivered?
They are open to product suggestions and further software development is likely by them or thirdparties through their API. Currently the WFC01 will take into account soil moisture from the WH51 probe and detected rainfall from a customers Ecowitt weather station as part of the irrigation programming.
I'm guessing answer is no, but can the water timer connect to the HP2564 instead of the GW2000 gateway? Or is there any plan to do this?
The GW2000 gateway is the first to transmit instructions back to the WFC01 sensor as well as receive data. The current range of other consoles and gateways do not support this feature, so you are correct with your guess of no.

We have no word on whether a console with this capabilty will be avaialbe at this time.
